Taking the decision to enroll my son as a founding student of St. Mary’s Cradle has been one of the best decisions I have made concerning his future. The appeasing ambiance of the school down to all the staff, teachers and owner was just like home.

I have watched my son blossom from a pretty quiet toddler to a chatty and very curious 5 year old. The school tutored him, and his abilities amaze me every day. Alvaro is interested in cooking and many domestic activities because of the sessions he has had in school. He loves to listen to stories and read books, thanks to the book club and the reading sessions all due to the untiring efforts of his teachers.

Thank you so much for teaching him prayers and songs, it has made my work in this department so much easier. Thank you for the virtues and for the love of numbers he has and also supporting the development of the social skills he portrays. To all the Teaching staff and Proprietress, Mrs Okpala, words are not enough to express how grateful I am.

It is hard to move on from a place where you felt so comfortable leaving your child because you knew that he was in good hands. We will miss you all.

We are incredibly blessed and grateful to have our son and daughter Somto and Dumebi attend St Mary’s Cradle Montessori Preschool. Somto is Six years old and has moved on to Primary School and Dumebi is three years old and is still at St Mary’s.

Somto started school when he was two months old and you can imagine as first-time parents, we were incredibly worried as to how he would cope being so little. To our greatest delight, everything went well. I was always at ease whenever I dropped him off because I knew he would be safe. This encouraged me to bring Dumebi as a baby as well.

You can feel the genuine love and care that is showered on all children in the school and this especially endeared me to all the teachers and staff at St Mary’s Cradle. Each child is made to feel special and unique as individuals. There is always an open line of communication with the school which I love. This extra special care provided by St Mary’s Cradle truly makes it feel like a child’s “home away from home”.

St Mary’s Cradle is a wonderful preschool with very personable, dedicated, and caring Director and staff who genuinely love children and I would recommend them to anyone for their children.

St Mary’s Cradle Montessori School is the best foundation any parent can give their children. Adeena, my daughter, started at the school a few days to her 2nd birthday and by the end of the 1st term in the school, she had grown and blossomed beyond my imagination.

St Mary’s Cradle is a home away from home. Adeena immediately fell in love with her school, the teachers, and the new friends she made and was always excited to go to school. By age 3, Adeena’s vocabulary far exceeded that of her peers. She also imbibed the culture of completing all her homework when she got home before doing anything else. A habit that has stuck with her even as she is in Primary School.

I always looked forward to the annual parents’ forum where parents could catch up on their children’s progress, and Mrs. Okpala would invite various experts to share parenting skills to better equip us to handle different situations that would occur while raising our children. Mrs. Okpala was not only a mother to our kids, she was also a mother to us, the parents.

I will be eternally grateful to my St Mary’s Cradle family and to God, because taking Adeena there was the best decision I made the year she joined the school.

Ebipadou (Ebi) Angaye progressively improved during her formative years with the school and we know it takes a whole lot to achieve this kind of result. Our joy is in the fact that a firm foundation has been laid for Ebi which we hope to build on.

St. Mary’s Cradle is truly a home away from home. Our experience with the school was so phenomenal that we had to enroll our second child. The peace we had throughout Ebi’s stay at the school was unimaginable and we keep giving referrals to our friends and family in the neighborhood and also pray for God’s continuous blessing on the School.
